Who can be a Member?
For qualifying to become a member of IIA, you should:
q Be a Graduate, a professional
degree holder from any recognised University/Institute.
q Have some working experience
in Accounts/Finance/Internal Audit streams.
How to Apply?
In case you fulfil the above requirements and wish to join
the folds of the Institute, you may put in your application
forms completed in duplicate and send to us at the appropriate
address, along with:
q Your local A/c Payee Cheque
(Demand Draft in case of outstations) for Rs.1750/- (Rs.750/-
towards one time admission fee and Rs.1000/- towards annual
subscription), drawn in the name of "The Institute of
Internal Auditors-India, Delhi Chapter" (for Delhi Chapter).
q Photocopy of your certificate
of passing highest qualification / membership certificate
of CA / ICWA / ICS / GRADUATION.
q On your letter head details
of experience in the field of Internal Audit, if any, specifying
the organisations / Companies and the nature of work done.
Minimum requirement of experience is two years. Qualified
CA / ICWA need not submit this detail.
q Reference letters from two
persons, introducing and recommending you for the membership
of the Institute as mentioned in the space provided in the
Application Forms. They need not be existing members of our
Institute.
q AND an undertaking on your
letter head as per proforma given below:
" I hereby undertake that I shall NOT USE any abbreviations
like MIIA (USA), AIIA (USA) or FIIA (USA) with my name on
my letter head or visiting cards as per restrictions imposed
by IIA, Florida, USA. I further undertake that I will pay
my annual subscription regularly in the beginning of the accounting
year and in case my name is removed from the Membership Register
of the Institute, I shall return the Membership Certificate
and not misuse or misrepresent the Membership of The Institute."
