The Bombay Chapter was the pioneering
chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors-India. The chapter
currently organises monthly Peer Group Meetings where
members interact on topical issues as well as matters of
concern. The chapter is also currently actively discussing
with various institutes of management and commerce, efforts to
introduce internal audit in their curriculum.
The Chapter also plans to give this year
'Awards for Excellence" in internal audit to individuals
and firms. The eligibility criteria for these are currently
being worked out.
