The Bangalore Chapter was started
during 1974-75. It regularly holds professional development
meetings on the second Thursday of every month. Chapter Governors
meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
The Chapter organises Regional Seminars every year. The National
Conference is conducted by the Chapter once in four years.
It co-ordinates the CIA Examinations (conducted by the IIA,
Florida, USA) at Bangalore. The eligibility for this exam
is a Bachelor's degree with two years Audit experience OR
a Master's degree with one year experience. Fees structure
and other information for the revised exam content can be obtained from the parent body.
